Hollow Dogs and Holy Remnants
"Hollow Dogs and Holy Remnants" is a group of sculptures made of antique hand-made quilts and encrusted with, paint, beading and once-loved costume jewelry. They are husks of animals that were once magnificent when there bodies were in inhabited. The empty forms, with the material trappings, are evidence of these lives. These pieces are on display at The Barbara Archer Gallery in Atlanta from May 17th thru June 30th

Linda Hall's Cabinet of Curiosities at Tallahassee Museum
"Linda Hall's Cabinet of Curiosities" is an exhibition that opened on August 15th and run through November 7 2010. It features watercolor paintings, collections of my favorite things and mixed media sculptures. The exhibited paintings are inspired by medieval bestiaries. The sculptures by that function as "containers of spirit" and explore the interrelation of humans and animals.
